Mark and Tracy Englund, owners of Englund Estate in Cuthbert, Georgia, hosted an amazing workshop at their beautiful wedding + event venue. During the weekend workshop, we were treated to a styled shoot at Providence Canyon State Park. Having lived in Georgia my entire life, I couldn't believe this was my first trip to Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon" but it mostly definitely won't be my last. This incredible landscape was the perfect backdrop for the styled shoot Mark and Tracy had planned for us.

The canyon walls provide gorgeous overlooks, which we used to our advantage with our models. The small creeks of water running through the canyon from the recent rain, made for a small but manageable obstacle to get to the perfect spot. If you've ever been in red Georgia clay, you know how difficult it can be to clean that stuff out of your clothes and off of your shoes. So you try your hardest not to step in it. But those deep reds and oranges make for some beautiful background colors. So if you haven't been to Providence Canyon, put it on your list. It's a treasure close to home that you don't want to miss out on.
